Atlanta, GA, September 1, 2011 - Olympus Worldwide of Atlanta has earned the position of 922 on the 2011 Inc. 5000, Inc.’s annual list of the fastest growing private companies in America.

Johan De Leeuw, owner and company president, believes the severe economic downturn of 2009 was a lightning ride for growth and positive change in his 13 year old Company. “Every person on our team has gotten better across the board since then” says De Leeuw, “we all realized that the bar was raised and the expectations of our clients increased exponentially. We have to be great every day, in everything we do.”

 

De Leeuw believes that a strategy of “early adoption” of technology has been a tipping point for company growth. Olympus Worldwide is a paperless office with chauffeurs receiving trips through I pad and PDA. Olympus vehicles can be tracked on-line through a company provided GPS link. Billing and back office functions are streamlined through the company’s state-of-the art reservation software. “Our clients are tech savvy and very much time challenged” says De Leeuw, “we have tried our best to make dealing with our company very similar to dealing with a company like Amazon.”

De Leeuw has invested lots of shoe leather and hundreds of thousands of miles of air travel in finding appropriate companies to partner with. “We have developed a world class group of partners by investing in the time to vet them properly.
