Olympus Worldwide President, Johan DeLeeuw was honored by Limousine Digest Magazine on October 20th in Atlantic City as a finalist for their 2008 Operator of the Year award.

Olympus Limousine continues to grow their national network. Currently one in five Olympus trips is taken outside the metro Atlanta area. The Company has advertised “One call, one ride, transportation anywhere by calling 877-OLYMPUS. Olympus clients place one call and their ground transportation reservation is instantly arranged in the city they are traveling to. Reservations, vehicle dispatch, and payment are all done through Olympus’s Atlanta offices.

Olympus Limousine and owner Johan De Leeuw are marking their second year as members of the Limousine Benchmarking Group. Facilitated by a well known industry veteran, the LBG consists of 12 limousine company owners from different cities who share best practices and benchmark financial information in three intense three day meetings through the course of the year. The meetings also include assigned reading and occasionally a talk by a high end service professional like a hotel GM.

Olympus President Johan De Leeuw was profiled in the March 2008 edition of Limousine Digest Magazine. The 1500 word, 4 page profile included multiple photos of Johan and was mailed out to the magazines 14,000 plus subscribers and posted on their website in mid-March. Industry Consultant and Limousine Digest contributing writer Tom Mazza cited the young entrepreneur’s background and the circumstances that brought Johan to the Limousine industry as reasons the story would be interesting to readers.

As a featured speaker at the 19th Annual Limousine Digest Show, on November 6, 2007, Johan's topic was “Group and Special Event Work: Planning and Management” Before an enthusiastic group of nearly 500 industry professionals, Johan shared his experience and insights on handling this important market segment. Johan was joined by Sean Duval, president of Golden Limousine in Ann Arbor, MI. Duval's company was heavily involved in providing transportation for both the Ryder Cup and Super Bowl in the last year.
